Please<\/span> read the following terms and conditions carefully before renting a car from our company. By renting a car, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Reservation and Rental Requirements<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
  1. To make a reservation, you must be at least 21 years old.<\/li>
  2. Rental rates are subject to availability and may vary based on the type of vehicle, rental duration, and seasonal factors.<\/li>
  3. Rental rates include
    1. Unlimited kilometers (Only included for traveling within the Phuket region. Traveling in the other regions of Thailand daily mileage is restricted to 100 kilometers. If the limit is exceeded, one is obligated to pay 5 THB per extra kilometer.)*<\/li>
    2. Additional drivers surcharge.<\/li>
    3. Cower Damage Waiver (CDW).<\/li>

      *\u00a0If the driver selects \"Phuket only\" in the booking but decides to go elsewhere without informing VIKAR beforehand, they commit to paying a fine equivalent to the deposit mentioned in the rental agreement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Driver's License and Documents<\/span><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      1. All drivers must present a valid driver's a valid Thai driving license \/ international driving license or a driving license from a renter\u2019s country of residence (with an English translation) and carry with you at all times when driving the vehicle<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Thai Residents must present Passport or ID card<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

        \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

        Rental Period and Extensions<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
          \n
        1. The rental period starts at the agreed pick-up time and ends at the designated drop-off time as mentioned in the rental lease.<\/span><\/li>\n
        2. If you wish to extend the rental period, you must contact us in advance to check availability and arrange payment for the additional period.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

          Vehicle Usage and Restrictions<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
            \n
          1. The rented vehicle must only be driven by authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement.<\/span><\/li>\n
          2. Smoking and transporting pets are strictly prohibited inside the rental vehicle.<\/span><\/li>\n
          3. It is strictly prohibited to use the vehicle under the influence of drugs, alcohol and other substances, or have a blood alcohol content that exceeds the limit set out by law Thailand<\/span><\/li>\n
          4. The vehicle must not be used in damaged or unsafe conditions<\/span><\/li>\n
          5. The vehicle must not be used as a public or freight transport or in any other commercial services.<\/span><\/li>\n
          6. The vehicle should only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with traffic regulations in Thailand.<\/span><\/li>\n
          7. The vehicle must be used in Thailand only.<\/span><\/li>\n
          8. Driving on beaches, through dams, rivers, flood areas or roads which are prone to floods or on roads where the police or any governmental authority has issued a warning or caution notice is strictly prohibited.<\/span><\/li>\n
          9. The vehicle must not be used for any illegal purpose or immoral activities or activity against good public order of any kind<\/span><\/li>\n
          10. The vehicle must not be used for towing or pushing activity<\/span><\/li>\n
          11. It is prohibited to sub-lease vehicle to third parties, carry passengers more than the number of seat belts provided in the vehicle or exceed the loading capacity of the vehicle<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
            \n\t\t\t\t
            \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

            Payment and Security Deposit<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
            \n\t\t\t\t
            \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
              \n
            1. Rental charges must be paid in full at the start of the rental period.<\/span><\/li>\n
            2. A security deposit will be required at the time of pick-up, which will be refunded upon satisfactory return of the vehicle.<\/span><\/li>\n
            3. If at least one condition mentioned in the \u201cVehicle Usage and Restrictions\u201d section was violated, the security deposit becomes non-refundable.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

              \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

              Damages Coverage<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
              \n\t\t\t\t
              \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
                \n
              1. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition in- and outside the vehicle,  as it was received by the customer.<\/span><\/li>\n
              2. VIKAR reserves the right to not replace the vehicle if the vehicle or third party property is damaged before expiration of Rental Period due to the fault of the customer.<\/span><\/li>\n
              3. In case of using an unsuitable type of gasoline and problems with the fuel system, the customer is obligated to cover the cost of engine repairs in full.<\/span><\/li>\n
              4. In case of any damage caused by the customer's fault, the customer agrees to pay the damage fee with respect to a rental agreement. <\/span>The penalty applies to each individual instance of damage the customer is responsible for.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
                \n\t\t\t\t
                \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

                Late Returns and Penalties<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
                \n\t\t\t\t
                \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
                1. If the vehicle is returned late,\u00a0 the customer agrees to pay THB 200 per hour. If the customer has delayed the return for more than 3 (three) hours from agreed drop-off time, the payment is charged for 1 (one) day of the rental. In case the customer is late in returning the vehicle for more than one day, payment is charged double the amount of the daily cost of the contract for each day of delay.<\/span><\/li>
                2. VIKAR vehicles are rented out with full tanks and must return the same, otherwise the renter will be charged for a refill upon return (50 Bath\/ltr).<\/span><\/li>
                3. VIKAR vehicles are rented out clean on the inside and the outside and must return the same, otherwise the renter will be charged 500 THB for a cleaning upon return.<\/li>
                4. In case the smell of smoke, durian, stinky foods or pets is present in the vehicle upon the return day of the vehicle, the fine of 10,000 (ten thousand) THB will be applied.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
                5. In case of key loss, the penalty of 8,700 THB will be applied.<\/span><\/li>
                6. In case the customer has received traffic fines during the rental period, he agrees to pay 500 THB to VIKAR in addition to the complete redemption of the ticket.<\/span><\/li>
                7. If the customer has permanently or temporarily lost the access to the vehicle during the rental period, he agrees to pay the penalty starting from 500 THB (may increase depending on the location) so that VIKAR will again grant access to the vehicle.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

                  1. Our company is not responsible for any private belongings loss, damage, or health damages and injuries arising from the rental or use of the vehicle.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
                    \n\t\t\t\t
                    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

                    Force Majeure<\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
                    \n\t\t\t\t
                    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
                      \n
                    1. Our company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to provide the rental vehicle due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
